The BATTLE CHALICE is a 6+ ounce 8.25 inch tall by 2 inch wide vessel of 304 stainless steel. The same type of steel standard kitchen pots and pans are made from. The body of the BATTLE CHALICE is accented with 6 5/8 inch steel spikes (3 rows of 2). The stem and foot are gray PVC with a steel bolt core and steel accents. The "bowl" is lined with a plastic polymer coating to keep the steel from tainting the flavor of your beverage.
I do not polish the BATTLE CHALICE beyond a very basic brushed finish. When it arrives in the box it is meant to already look like it had seen combat. After all, which looks more intimidating... the flouncy prince in his mirror polished and undented armor or the knight who looks like he was just chewed on by a dragon?
