The most cursory foray into the BDSM or M/s scene will immediately reveal its costly nature. The tools of the trade, often referred to as "toys", are expensive, sometimes running into hundreds of dollars. I, not having that kind of expendable cash, yet finding myself enjoyably involved, decided to come up with an alternative... creating my own "toys".
After much careful study of the various items available, mostly leather, I came to the conclusion that part of the high cost was the materials involved. However, this still does not completely account for the untouchable monetary expenditure required. I could only deduce that the suppliers of the scene had also set their prices based on exclusivity.
The goal I set when creating my own implements was threefold... 1.) I wanted them to be affordable. 2.) I wanted them to be aesthetically pleasing. And 3.) I wanted them to be different than what is currently being offered. I believe I have more than adequately achieved these criteria.
At 33% to 50% of the price of comparable quality items, it is my assertion that Gryphon's Claw equipment is affordable to all. The end result of my finished designs are very professional in both appearance and practice. And lastly, They have a look all their own as I use many alternative materials.
While admittedly not the initially intended purpose, the materials I use are not derived from animal sources. Many of the "alternative" communities today object to the use of animal products and bi-products and therefore object to the use of nearly all BDSM "toys". Gryphon's Claw now offers an alternative to compromise morals and/or quality.

Each handle is made of durable dark gray PVC wrapped in your choice of paracord color (See below). At the end of each handle is a steel spike to add even more tactile possibilities.
The core material is either pinned or epoxied in place and sometimes both.
All of these items have been field tested for quality, durability, and feel.
